Field Location: 13840 NW Cornell Rd, Portland, OR 97229

Left Field 310 ft.

Right Field 302 ft.

Center Field 345 ft.

Backstop 21 ft.

Strategy: Fast Turf, Tight Angles

  • Players must stay low and maintain active feet—turf will increase infield velocity.
  • Corners play in and tight to the lines to cut off fast-moving grounders.
  • OF emphasize charging through the ball—don’t sit back. Every hop is predictable, but fast.
  • Short backstop means balls don’t travel—force out opportunities increase.

Offensive Game Plan

  • Utilize bunts, drag hits, and early steals to apply pressure.
  • Encourage hitters to pull ground balls into the short foul lines where quick turf boosts chances.
  • Aggressive baserunning—read bounces quickly. Anticipate and react before the defense settles.
