Strategy: High Alert in RF
- IF and OF must shift heavily to right. Shallow RF fly balls can be HRs.
- Pitch away—work off-speed and outside zones to neutralize RF pull hitters.
- Prioritize fast transitions and crisp throws—turf demands quickness.
- Wild pitches rarely advance runners but requires constant blocking vigilance.
Offensive Game Plan
- Righties go oppo—use RF gap and carry to their advantage. Fly balls can reward.
- Lefties—fly balls to RF can be instant damage—identify wind patterns.
- Jesuit’s turf allows drag bunts and well-placed rollers to become instant base hits.
